My Bio
I'm a SFX-makeup artist, so what I do isn't mostly considered art, but a craft. I make masks for actors in movies, like the orcs in The Lord of the Rings. Well, I haven't had that big movie jobs yet, but I have made some smaller stuff for Norwegian television, and I'm currently working on an Orc for my local cinema for the opening on The Hobbit 2.
I can do most anything in the SFX-world, foam latex masks, silicone, gelatine, you name it. Everything from a small wound to big creatures and old age makeup. I also do body paint. If you want me for a job, you can contact me on my e-mail: ingeborgarobak@yahoo.no

Oh dear... Cross your fingers and hope the best. I've gotten through the first two tests to get in to this University College, and are supposed to go to an interview next Thursday. If they accept me, I'll become a manuscript writer for TV and movies. And of course I'll finish my course in SFX-makeup this spring. It's exiting. I also have a spot at this school for illustration, so there is plenty to do, but still. If they accept me at the university college at Lillehammer (my home town), I'll be the youngest to get in ever. Please, cross your fingers for me, and hope I don't say anything stupid... Cross your fingers that they'll accept me. M

Hi! It's been a long time since my last update, and I think it was about time now. So, what have happened since my last entry? Well, I've been a little trip to China, Beijing and Xi'an, so I've seen a lot of nice culture and things there. I met an old friend of mine there too, Songson Kelly HurienSong, just called Kelly. I've finished my "Folkehøgskule", a kind of pre-college, and I've directed a highlights musical in my hometown. But now, some more amazing have happened. I got in at NISS, Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio, where I am studying to be a SFX-artist. I had my first day today, and it is looking promising. This year will

So it's your birthday? Congrats! :la:
Thank you! :huggle:
Btw.1: I was at Bømlo last weekend. Rune told me to say Hi! He's leaving Bømlo this summer, as far as I know. Wonder where he'll stay next, and how long, but I hope he'll go back to the stage, or find another school to teach youths or children.
Btw.2: I have had a tough time at school since christmas, so I haven't had time to see Les Mis before last week. But then two times. I both love and hate it. I like most of the people, but I'm disappointed with Hugh Jackman. Too much Vibrato when he's singing. And I don't think he have the voice to sing both the young and old Veljean, but otherwise I like the film. What did you think?
Aw! I'd tell you to say hi back to him from me – but I guess that would require some going back in time... ;) Thanks anyway! And hey, if you find out what he'll be doing next, let me know – I'd of course love to see him onstage again!

Ah, I know that feeling about the Les Mis movie, I have a sort of a love/hate relationship with it myself, too... I agree about Hugh Jackman. His acting was fine, but the singing. Oh man. It's so painfully clear the part doesn't suit his voice, especially during Bring Him Home! (Odd how Russell Crowe gets all the hate, his Stars is pretty much the only thing I listen to from the movie soundtrack...)

I also think the movie has way too many closeups, and personally I don't find the barricade boy scenes very interesting (they're usually my favourites). Maybe they were cut down too much, almost everything Enjolras and Grantaire say during Red and Black is gone... But then again, I really liked what the film did with the character of Fantine, and how it switched songs around to make more sense, and the Gavroche was amazing, as was little Cosette, and did I already mention I love Russell Crowe as Javert and cried like a very very sad waterfall during Stars just because I thought it looked and sounded so pretty...

So yeah, not completely disappointed! ;) (Sorry, this is turning into a rant.)
